A cloudy day at the beach...

Sonne, Meer, Palmen, Strand. Typisch oder? Muss nicht immer sein. Mir gefällt das Meer auch wenn es ein wenig stürmisch und bewölkt ist. Dann kommt immer so eine schöne mystische Stimmung auf und es erinnert mich stark an den Film "Fluch der Karibik". Nur ohne Piraten :-). Ich muss schon sagen, dass der indische Ozean nicht zu unterschätzen ist. Es überkommt mich manchmal schon ein mulmiges Gefühl wenn ich im Wasser bin. Gleichzeitig ist es fasziniered zu wissen, dass wir uns auf einer Insel befinden umgeben nur von Wasser, Fischen, Walen und anderen Meeresbewohnern. Bisher war ich lediglich in der Adria in Italien schwimmen und dort ist es ideal für Familien und auch Leute die nicht so geübt sind. Aber der Ozean hats in sich. Viel Spass beim Schwimmen und Planschen!

Sun, sea, palm trees, beach. Typical, isn't it? Doesn't always have to be. I like the sea even when it's a bit stormy and cloudy. It always creates such a beautiful mystical atmosphere and reminds me a lot of the film "Pirates of the Caribbean". Only without the pirates :-). I have to say that the Indian Ocean should not be underestimated. Sometimes I get a queasy feeling when I'm in the water. At the same time, it's fascinating to realise that we're on an island surrounded only by water, fish, whales and other sea creatures. So far I've only been swimming in the Adriatic Sea in Italy and it's ideal for families and people who aren't so experienced. But the ocean has it all. Have fun swimming and splashing around!
